Read by Tiffany - An easier read than Wolf Hall - possibly because the cast of characters is more familiar in this sequel, plus the time frame of this book is less than a year, and tightly focussed on the fall of Anne Boleyn and Cromwell's role in the proceedings. Of course Cromwell has already foreseen the change of fortunes and allied with the Seymours to ensure they are prepared and Jane carefully coached to ensnare the King completely.. as well as making sure a few personal grudges are satisfied as well (pointing out at one stage that finding the truth of who is guilty is not as important as proving the guilt of those whom it is useful to Cromwell in some way to do so).
