Read by Tiffany - Gripping from the beginning. Well constructed and developed characters. Set in a city where people are fighting for survival - demons are openly battling for human souls, angels generally keep a low profile, and necromancers raise the dead to be zombie servants. Oliver lays out the world through pertinent and timely details, without heavy slabs of exposition as to the background whys and wherefores. Well paced and full of action.
(I met Jana Oliver at SupaNova in Sydney and she was very very lovely, and kind enough to sign a couple of postcards for me, and gave me stickers and a Demon Trappers patch! )
