“Google can bring you back 100,000 answers. A librarian can bring you back the right one.” ― Neil Gaiman
Read by Vincenza - one of our library readers who likes to read first time Australian authors, recommended this book. I liked the look of the cover and the quote by Debra Adelaide was the challenge "a story that lingers long in the imagination". First impression on finishing the book was "Sophie's Choice" meets "A Fortunate Life" and "The Rabbit Proof Fence" with a happier ending than "The Sound of One Hand Clapping". Yes, a very heart warming story. So happy that this is the first of a trilogy. The Indigo Sky and A Distant Land follow.
