Read by Tiffany: Interestingly paced, sections of action, then long sections of training and travel. Erik and Roo are engaging characters and their development through the obstacles and hardships they must overcome is well constructed. And then the battle begins ... and we fight every step of the way from Krondor to Darkmoor.. while Pug, Macros, Nakor, Miranda and Calis gradually reveal their secrets piece by piece and unravel the truth of the Chaos War and the creation and purpose of the Lifestone at Sethanon. Action packed and suspenseful - lets face it, Feist could kill any of them off any time! - And very well written.
