“Google can bring you back 100,000 answers. A librarian can bring you back the right one.” ― Neil Gaiman
Read by Kim A: The blurb built up expectations for me of mystery and adventure, of the daughter tracking down details of her father’s prior life and reasons for his disappearance. The reality was that in chapter 2 she arrives in Burma and is approached by someone who says ‘I was expecting you, here is your father’s story’, which was not very satisfying to me. From there a love story unfolds and the mystery is solved, but it was not what I was expecting.
