The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood

The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood

Read by Tiffany:  A well told tale, teasing out details of the dystopian future that the handmaid inhabits and some of the road that led there. I found it very emotionally engaging and thought provoking, and scarily plausible given the attitudes towards women's rights in some areas of the world.

(Vincenza has previously read this and loved it. She said ‘it is one of my all-time top reads. I didn’t realise it was Sci Fi until the end’)
