Read by Melissa: Who doesn't love a good regency romance? (ahh, Mr Darcy...). I read this book every Christmas (it's starting to look a little worn) and never get tired of it. I love the way Helen Archery writes - her turn of phrase is quite amusing. I really love Merrie, the heroine, and how she doesn't put up with any nonsense, but at the same time seems relatively believable. I also enjoy the way Archery uses the subtleties of the time and how small events could be seen as great "scandals". Fun and festive.
