Read by Tiffany: Steampunk, alternate history, & zombies .. what more could you ask for?!? :)
A gently told, typical steampunk-set tale of a mother's quest to find her son, and the son's to find the truth of his father and grandfather. Mostly the story of a mother and son finding their common ground and learning to share their stories for the good of their future. Partly about trust - how well do you know people, and why do you trust what they tell you? How much do you assume or fill in the gaps? How much power do they gain by your own assumptions? Loved the reveal at the end - why is Widow Blue so very sure Dr Minneracht isn't Leviticus Blue?
